Thank you, but also interesting is, according to the info in the Warranty/Maintenance book, the original owner took possession 7-30-86
what does factory pick up mean exactly?

For what it's worth, I count 835 U.S. 928s with the tourist delivery option, between 1980 and 1995.

... and just to add a bit more trivia, that equates to about 5% of total US cars (16465) ... which is a reasonable percentage and a bit more than I would have expected.
