Front is real nice.

I wanted to add that if you painted the strakes black, it may look really nice. photoshop it.

The body kit totally destroys the proportions of the 928 body. If at least they had matched the rear end to the side skirts...

It looks best from the front.

After looking at the pictures and going through the first hand accounts by Jim, I'm giving my blessing to get this thing going forward. Sure I've got some work involved but this is not the basket case I expected to see. Last week when Jim asked me about it I snubbed my nose and really had no interest in it. After today this could be a very fun project.

Jim, the one that got dumped on the door step today (at this point) runs so we may be a go for this week. I'll know more tomorrow.

I like it... kind of a 935 influence to the front. And, functional side strakes? Where do they feed to... brakes?

Fill in the "cheese graters" on the door and it will look so much better!

They are actually functional, one of the things that surprised me. The wider fenders have vents that go back to the rear wheels in a sorta brake cooling vent way.

Here's a pic of the vents that flow through the door and rear. Also photoshop pics of what the car would look like if I shortened the length of the strakes or removed.

Me too!

The DP is really growing on me. A lot of body work there. It would be interesting for me to see it up close to know exactly how they went about the transformation.

You could easily sell those Fuchs for good money on the 911 switchboards..
and go with a better 928 choice (like Neil's) for wheels.
A larger diameter wheel would look good on this car.

I would think those functioning strakes would cause drag and rear end lift at high speed.

Basically glued on some fiberglass bolted on glass front fenders and nose cap... slathered on enough bondo to make things match up.....

Not to worry about "high speed" lift the increased frontal area and flairs will slow it down enough It does have that Miami Vice look going for it which is now so far out of style to almost be cool !!
