Rear hatch lower latch insert.
Where can I find the little plastic insert that guides the upper latch into place?
Besides Ebay.
I have found the upper latch "catch" (white plastic piece), but can not find the lower part. However, I haven't order the upper part yet...since I was hoping to get both pieces from one supplier to save on shipping.
Thank you,
Brian.

while searching the Internet for parts can be entertaining and a great way to pass time while sitting in front of the screen at work a simple phone call to one of the long term 928 vendors will get you the RIGHT parts at a fair price PLUS like Rogers comment above also will let you know what else you probably need or in many cases what else you DO NOT need... and you also KNOW that they care about 928s as they own them !!!
You may also find that you need to slightly bend the area where the post bolts to the hatch for proper alignment after your new parts are installed.

Also before you install the hatch receiver insert make sure you get all the broken plastic pieces out of the
bottom of the opening. Sometimes they're hard to see.

First of all make sure you remove ALL of the old hard plastic bits from the old liner in the lower receiver.
Using a dowel or some other implement pass it through the new insert. Then place the dowel and new insert over the lower hatch receiver and push down on the white plunger. Push the insert into place and ensure the fingers insert into the slots. Remove pressure on the dowel and stand back and admire your workmanship.

Well that *was* easy to install. This little part may be the only one on the whole car which is easy to install. And it seems to fix the problems with the hatch release at the same time.
