How practical / doable is it to export your designs to a cad/cam or 3d print file to make actual pieces?
I especially like your wheel arch flares and the nose cone / bumper.

Hi 545svk,
I think it's all possible, but I'd need to partner with a company that did that sort of thing. I would imagine you need some pretty expensive gear. I think (& I'm really no expert when it comes to this area of 3D e.g. rapid prototyping,/large scale 3D printing) I think... parts are 3D printed in foam & then from those prints molds can be made.
& thanks ATB!
Should have some final images in a couple of days. It's definitely my favorite so far.

There was an episode of "Inside Westcoast Customs" where they build a truck for a computer game company. The entire inside was designed on cad / cam. From there they machined the parts ( seats, mouldings etc) from Styrofoam, coated these with some plastic spray and used it as molds to make fiberglass parts.
I sat watching this thinking that if you 3d scan the 928, use that and the software and go from there, you can make very limited runs of very individual cars.

Lets do this!
We love your design, We can build it!
We have a freshly painted. widebody lightweight chassis
( approximately 2700 lbs when finished) rollcage, lexan windows fuel cell and true dual mandrel exhaust.
Six speed vette trans setup. Lots of wheel sets, 15", 16", 18".
Adapters for most any engine you can imagine.
Various big brake kits, 330mm with wilwood 4 pots, 350mm with 4 pot Lexus monoblocks.
One ****load of left over 928 parts from our previous builds.
We have moderate fabrication skills, a fully equipped machine shop/garage, ( 4 axis CNC , lathes, welders, a puter whizz kid , a certifiably insane machinist , a genuine Texas redneck and dog named Jack )
You be the tour guide and we will turn your dream into reality!
PM if interested.
Best regards, Dinsdale Piranha

I hate to beat y'all to the punch, but I've been meaning to reveal the livery for the 2015 edition of the Zombie:
