Rear seat delete pic thread.
So I've been contemplating doing a rear seat delete, I wanna make it as clean and factory looking as possible.
I'm currently gathering ideas as the best way to pull it off.
So can we get a pic thread started from those who have done this mod, Please include multiple angle shots when possible.
Post em up!
Thx

This WAS mine, now belongs to the new owner, but it has been emulated by several. Storage compartments are from a late 80's Mazda RX7. The speaker recesses are 8" concrete forms cut down and installed with fiberglass.

Yeah yours was very nice indeed, I purchased a set of those Mazda bins way back with plans to emulate your design, I may still do so in fact.

the factory seat bottoms are good for walmart bags, but thats about it. I would be interested in a rear seat bottom delete, keeping the backs, but converting the bottom section for storage.

Any estimate as to how long it took you to do?

it took 2 months worth of nights and weekends.... most of that time was waiting for fiberglass and bondo to dry. I've never worked with fiberglass much before this project either, so I learned as I went. When I finally got the shape perfected I had a local shop install the carpet as I didn't think I would be able to do the contours and make it look nice. As you can see they did a fantastic job.
