My "new" 1986.5 Garnet Red 5 speed
Gang,
Not a thread for a fancy 928S by any stretch. Tony asked me to make a thread to document what I will be doing with it. I bought the car in April 2014. Soon after I bought it and drove it twice, the front shifter ball cup popped out and since then it was forgotten and left in the garage. Fast forward to March 2015, I decided that I should get the car back on the road. The car was sent to a local Porsche specialist. After getting a new clutch, ball cup, rear coupler, and all new fuel lines, it is now cruising the streets of San Francisco. I bought the car from a perfect gentleman in Northern California. Here are a few pics and I will update from time to time.

The car came with a brand new Momo Club 4. The stock wheel did not come with it so I paid extra to buy the stock wheel. It is quite worn and the stitches are all loose. I bought some threads online and play Paul Champagne. I am still working on the wheel as of today. The time I spent on the wheel makes no economic sense but at least I can say I did it myself.

Bought a set of Champion RG5 forged 19 inchers. Meh..... The car looks too tall but I could not lower the front any further so it is back on the 16 incher disc wheels but I put my S4's 16x8 at the rear for now.

Beatiful car.
Inside and out.
Great job on the steering wheel.
But I do like the black Momo sw. It gives the interior a different sportier look.
Not a fan of the 19" wheels either.
Congrats Steve.
