84 928S Euro 18k orig miles
Hey guys, first post here...read through some of the rules of posting so hope I don't mess up and get torched..
so this is what I got:
1984 928S Euro w/ 18k orig miles
5 speed w/ sunroof
No mods, all OEM (still have un opened med kit in back seat)
Red (from factory) w/ tan interior (light interior restoration)
Electrical/Mechanical is 100% functional
Factory alarm system
Never crashed, scratched, dented.. Been in garage last 15 years
To be honest I've taken care of car while not really been 100% into Porsche culture as I've always had a BMW.. But, can't deny tradition and heritage of this amazing car. For now just enjoying all of ur guys posts to learn more about this car. Thank you in advance for comments.

Great looking car, congratulations.
Okay folks...what is the small gauge within the tach gauge. Miles per gallon or something? Why metric, while all of the others are standard?
Anyhow...
Almost like looking at one in 1984...on a showroom floor. Very nice condition and look forward to seeing more pictures, preferably the engine bay and underside.
Again, congratulations and welcome to rennlist.
Oh, and we won't hold the BMW comment against you...since you're new here...but let's not let it happen again...lol.
Again...that's a beauty you have there!
Brian.

Looks good, Love the 16V Euro cars. Curious the history of yours. Do y ou have the importation paperwork that would clarify when the MPH speedo/odo were substituted. Also, was it repainted with color/clear or single stage? Front bumper plugs should be black not red. It should be a very powerful 928 to drive and fun.

gorgeous! One of my favorite color combinations too.
Chris - maybe the PO just had those bumper caps painted? Assuming accurate history as indicated by post 1, there would not have been a reason for a repaint. I'm curious too.

My fuel meter is the same way. I'm guessing they don't change out the tach when the car is federalized to save money (same way they added those trailer lights to the sides of the fenders!) RPM's here is the same as RPM there and anyway you get used to understanding that when the gauge is all the way to the left instead of to the right that's when you grin uncontrollably.

Will take some better pics of car next week and post for sure.
To answer some of your guys' questions, I don't have those import docs, we acquired car from Bill Ussery Mercedes Benz back in the day, guessing PO did a trade in for an SL who knows.. Same day he traded in we bought the car.. Can't turn down something so nice. Not sure about caps in the front to be honest... Someone I believe asked for pictures of keys? I'll add to some of te new pics I can take next week. For now, here is another that's in my phone.. Thanks guys for all comments
