I used wet and dry 800 grit paper, for any pitting I used standard body filler just as you would on finishing a body panel.

Interior now pretty well finished, big tick in the box complete

Not long to go until road testing can start

Engine is complete but now have to trace a water leak which is appearing some way back on the engine, thinking heater control valve

that looks SO good! recently, the short hose from my heater valve to engine had a tiny split...???

Fitting the bonnet last night. Fitted the all important badge, it’s been off for so long it seems strange to see it there.

I am slowly running out of things to bolt onto the car, must be getting close to road test time.

Finally made the road

Now Shark Tuning can take place in earnest.

I found more idle improvement from adjusting the throttle cable, it was holding the throttle open very slightly although the TPS was registering the idle position correctly. Once the throttle was 100% closed this improved smoothness and ability to idle at S4 level when hot.
