Wink Do I need spacers with Carrera IIIs
I want to put Carrera III rims on my 928 s4 1988.
Do I need spacers for the back?
I want to put 235/40s on the front 8 x 18, and 265/35 on 10" backs.

Oddly enough I have them on my '79 and on my GTS and the fender clearance is the same. No spacers. Except for the stock spacers on the GTS.

I have them on my 91, no spacers. No issues.

Just purchased a set myself and waiting to install them. I have talked to people who have them on their 928 and you can go up to 285 in the rears and no spacers required.

^^Some 285s will fit.

Others may not.

I had that setup on my ex '91 GT and used no spacers. It was a good fit.
