The Benefits of a Rennlist 928 Purchase
I bought my black 928 S4 in 2009, and really enjoy the car. I decided last year that I wanted to look for a second 928. After doing a lot of searching, I found and purchased a 928 from a fellow Rennlister, James (JCB928). James was great to work with throughout the purchase. Great communication, provided very detailed information about the car, and was helpful throughout the entire process. Lizard928 aka Colin Jensan performed the PPI, and I was able to arrange for Colin to do some work on the car before it was shipped to me from Abbotsford BC. The most major of the work performed was an intake refresh. Again, a great experience with Colin. He was terrific to work with, and he does amazing work with the highest level of detail and quality.
The car, a silver metallic ROW 1989 S4 was originally delivered to the Japan market. It was imported to Canada in 2002. The car was shipped to me in late March. I am really happy with how everything turned out. My favorite option on the car is the one that it doesn’t have, a sunroof. I really appreciate the extra headroom. Since receiving the car I changed out the original wheels for some Cup IIs. And, I installed a jump post cover, which we all know adds tremendous value to the car, not to mention horsepower.

Here is the contra situation to this. I just purchased a rolling wreck from a student in MA. No offense to him, nice kid and all but the car has been let go tremendously. Almost every system on the car outside of the engine, clutch, trans needs attention. However, I'm sure I paid far, far less for my pig in poke than a fully sorted turn-key car. There is a market for everyone. I'm happy, and some day, not too distant, my car will be moderately well sorted and avail for purchase.
