They will be; I still have materials for another 18 pairs. I've just been extremely busy and haven't had a chance to make another batch. Maybe in a couple of months or so.

fogging issue sometimes
Resurrecting an old thread...
I have been running H4 LED's in combination with these awesome covers made by @Ed Scherer for several years now. See post 87 for more details.
Occasionally, I notice fog inside the H4 headlight lens when I arrive home. Usually, these trips are 20 minutes or so. I don't have any long-distance observations. I should note that I live in Portland, OR, where the winter weather is usually on the brink of fog, temperatures in the 40's, and relatively high humidity. I am curious if others using these covers are also experiencing occasional fogging. @Ed Scherer do you have any suggestions on how I might mitigate this? Would more airflow help? Or is it possible that too much airflow is getting in? Your thoughts are appreciated.
The pictures below were taken after a 15-min drive with the lights on, temps in the low 40's and no precipitation.

Needs a heater element inside. Drill the city-light bulb hole and put an incandescent bulb in there

The new H4 LED from Philips is a direct fit.

Awesome, and thank you for this Philips alternative. It's nice to see LED packaging evolve to be more of a suitable drop-in replacement.
Buying: Where did you get yours? I found only a few places that sell it in the USA.

ebay
Lumens: The stated output is 1500 lm (lhi beam) /1000 (low beam) per bulb. This seems pretty low compared to the "stated" outputs from other H4 LED's. The ones I currently are using are 4500 per bulb, assuming that is for both Hi/low beams, but still double the output. Now we know that lumen claims can be dubious unless tested. (see video from other RL post). I guess the best way to tell is to test myself.

I bought the LED H4 lamps at a local store.
Lumen is not that impressive, but it is a big difference to previous halogen lamps.
Use google translate for translation from Swedish to English.
I think you can order here:
