Default Power Connectors for stock amp?

Does anyone have a source for both sets (to and from) of the power plugs for the stock amplifier, this is for a 90 S4 with the 6 output stock amp?

I have new speaker plugs, just trying to find the plugs so I can power it up.

Hello Dictys!

Are you looking for new or used?
The PO included the stock amp and head unit from my 1986.5 928S. He had added an aftermarket system. If I remember correctly, the amp still has the plugs on it. I will look in the morning when I get home.

If you are looking for new, try Roger Tyson at 928s R Us.

Good Luck!

You mean the plug that goes here? AFAIK there is no part number in the Porsche system. There are some cheap variants on Ebay occasionally, but they're about 3 mm too long, the form factor is wrong.

Uh-oh, I think the connectors on the amp from the Red Witch are different. Sorry...

Thanks Seth and Rob,

Yes Rob, that connector and the other two connecters the other side of the amp which go back to the head unit.

I'll check with Roger and the other suppliers, but it seems I'll have to go used of eBay if I cannot find the right part number or original source.

Or if anyone one can post pictures of the three plugs, I may go the down the route of having the three plugs 3d printed.

Regards
Mark

I asked Stefan about this plug in the past, he hasn't found a good replacement for it. AFAIK it's only used on Blaupunkts.

Here's a pic of the Ebay female connector next to the amp receptacle- about 2 mm too big. But would easily be trimmed down to fit, the left-most pin isn't used.

The Ebay seller has the pigtail currently listed:

At the other end of the amp, here are the OE DIN 2-pin speaker connectors, laid out where by the channel they drive. Stefan should have a source for those, as does Crutchfield and on Ebay.co.uk.

Thanks Guys,

I've ordered the pigtail and will cut down to size.

I already have the din connectors for the speakers so just a matter of wiring evening thing up when it all arrives.

Thanks again
Mark
