Default Kroon Wire harnesses

Looking into my options on a replacement engine wire harness. Does anyone have experience with Kroon Wire Harnesses from the Netherlands?

Grab one of Sean's or Greg's, from Roger or 928 International. Both are very nice upgrades, with modern materials, up-rated conductor sizes where needed, etc. We try to keep the family business in the family here when possible.

Depending on the years there are differences between some Euro and USA spec 928s electrical systems, sometimes major differences.

Sean has all the 928 wiring harness permutations worked out so no worries.

Kroon will make any harness you want as long as you give them the old one to make a copy of. They also give you a large discount for doing so.

They might become more viable over here when everyone's front body harnesses start to go south like mine has.

I think all the available harnesses are better than the old deteriorating harnesses and probably work fine.

Pick one.

I certainly would not have bothered having a harness made, except most of my clients are trying to keep their cars as visually original as possible.....

And none of the available quality harnesses looked original, so I had mine made with original appearing outer materials and super high quality wire. As long as I had to do this, I upgraded the wiring from the alternator to the starter, to allow higher output alternators and less resistance with the current alternators. The heat shielding is 30% thicker than the original shielding (and made of more modern material) to keep the wiring as cool as possible when passing by the exhaust.

Like everything I do and make....this is the absolute best I can make it.

+1 on Stan's harnesses. I installed one last year when my original harness literally crumbled in my hands and have been VERY happy with it. All wires color coded to the original specs with correct terminals. Top notch work.

I have seen Sean's work and it's top notch stuff, plus you don't have to pay and wait on international shipping. Everything Greg puts out is top notch so I would not hesitate to buy his either.
If I were in Europe then Kroon would play into the equation due to cost and time, and it appears that they have nice quality stuff.

Kroon's wire harness is top notch and prices are more than fair! I talked to him personal yesterday and will pay him a visit next week. He's also in the progress of becoming a provider for Porsche's classic center in Europe for all wire harnesses! So much for quality. This is no bs. You can find them here:

RichVM I did end up going this route. I shipped to him yesterday and look forward to getting the new one installed.
