Default Help with non-working seats and mirrors please

I recently had to repair a switch on the passenger side of my '88 as the seat would not go forward - all other actions were fine. The car has 12-way power seats (i.e with lumbar control) and memory switches on both sides, i.e. for driver and passenger side seats.

I disconnected the battery, repaired the switch (it was missing a ball bearing contact, presumably from a PO's work), reconnected the battery to test the switch, but after it came apart in my hand (plastic tabs have aged), I disconnected the battery, reassembled the switch and reconnected the battery. Now none of the seat controls on either seat, the mirror control, and both sets of door memory controls are non-responsive.

I have checked the obvious - both seat motor fuses and the mirror fuse (#12) are fine.

My concern is that I have fried the memory control unit. However, the lumbar controls on both seats don't work and I would have thought they are not controlled by the memory, but I could be wrong. I also assume that there is a memory control unit for the passenger side independent of the driver's side, but I haven't studied the underside of the seat as it is hard to get to without being able to move the seat (I can of course move it with the crank if need be). But perhaps the control unit under the driver's seat does both sides.

I'm hoping there is an inline fuse not in the CE panel...

Suggestions please.

The usual issue with the seats not moving (after fuse check) is the main power wire to the main control board under the seat. The soldered joints at the main board where power enters often crack. Try removing the control unit and re-solder the main joints. Try wiggling the wire to see if motion returns.
Why both seats may be a conundrum.
