If he's calling out GTS-specific, perhaps he means the filler flap door? 928 504 301 03? Also available but closer to $140ish.

Do you already have the spring for the flap? (928 504 345 05). That's the unobtanium for the GTS filler flap assembly.

There's a spring on that flap?

How does it work?

Not one on my GTS.

On the gas door hinge, he needs the metal door not the rubber protective flap...

That's what threw me - c'mon Edwards you gotta do better with your terminology. The spring is on the door, not the 'flap'!

The thing is, PET calls the fuel filler door a 'fuel filler flap'. And the flap is a 'protective flap' So they're both flaps. Surprising ambiguity for Germans.

Strangely the protective flap on my GTS has no 'Oil Ok?" printing on it. Must have died of old age, or it was a cost-cutting thing in the waning days of the 928...

Mine has that on it.

I like your "Tires OK?" one even better.
