Default Best method to remove 16V intake emblem?

After several attempts at repainting the crest/emblem on the spider intake, they all looked like crap. So I ordered a new one to install.

it looks like most guys just used epoxy to install. But what is the best method to remove the old crest? Pry it off with a screwdriver? Apply heat from a butane torch?

My intake is finished pretty nicely, powder coated by the previous owner, so I don't want to gouge it up prying the old emblem off.

This blade putty knife. Take sharp razor and trace the emblem carefully. Then tape off around it with masking tape. Take a putty knife and small hammer and it should break free

Do it with the engine hot. Comes off easier.

And don't use epoxy to glue on the new one. A dab of high temp silicon works just fine and if you ever decide to remove it, it's much easier to deal with.
