Default I need help butchering my wrecked 928!!!

My 1986 early auto was rear-ended last summer. The tail end is BENT and left rear suspension points are bent, the car is totalled. My intention is to break the car, lots of parts for my new 1986 5speed LSD car plus some to pass on to the tribe. That said...I want to have a little fun first! The car runs and drives, I'm not sure how fast I'd go. Soooooo, I want to cut it into a convertible/ pick-up or something. I need ideas for cheap stupid mods that only involve the parts not salvageable. I'm thinking of Mad Max meets the Animal house Lincoln float... I want to Drive it in our Memorial Day Parade and a little around town, that's all. I like crazy, love stupid but only on the rear end. Please help me have some fun!!!!! Thanks, Brian.

Brian cut up an old Camry if you want to destroy a car, not a 928.

Btw, I need one small door speaker ring.

once upon a time this was a 944...
this was still fully street legal for bumpers/lights and such.
believe it weighed under 2000lbs.

If thought it could be saved I would. It kills me to let it go, I've done soooo much work to it. It's been a member of the family. By cutting it and bashing it around a little , it actually extends it's life.

What did the Germans make the glass from cubic zirconia?

Either way, it's sad to see one go but if you can eek just a bit more life and fun from it; why not?

That's the best looking 944 I've seen!

That sucks man...sorry to see...looks like a great car. Make sure you share some pics of whatever Frankencar you wind up making out of it.

Take the hatch off, cut the quarter windows out, build a flat bed in the rear hatch area with stake sides.

There you have it. A fast 928 farm truck for hauling vegetables to market or manure.

That sucks. Sorry for your loss.
This was always a rare option. May be a rare chance to experience a 928 convertible

Interesting to see how much stress the hatch glass and quarter window are in and still have not exploded.

That's funny, make a pickup. I would pull all of the rear parts off, glass etc, as some have asked for them. Just get the sawzall out and make the hay ride.

Ouch on the hit though.
