I concur on the fresh Fuel method and the monthly drives as this will keep them from just sitting and all the fluids getting stale

You have two excellent examples right there and are the right person to take care of them too.
I'm kind of more fond of "Iris" than that other one

Thanks for sharing the Pic's Hoi,

Dave

Have you considered doing a rear wiper delete on the Petrol Blue one?

Dave: thanks so much. However, with these 2 cars, I follow my work's mantra, "Do No Harm", and I cannot take credit to keeping these cars nice with my own 2 hands. I take advantage of having Stan near me, so the credits will go to him!

Tony: Petrol, definitely. Iris though, I would have to arrange to have it trailer it to the events! Keeping the miles down for me.

Randy: yes, but I like having the petrol blue as original as possible (16" phone dials are freshly powder coated and awaiting for new tires) since the PO spent so much to its total restoration (>$45,000 in receipts).

Fantastic back story, and probably unrepeatable find.

Love them both! Can't wait to see them in Pittsburgh!

By the way, for those planning the PVGP, now is the time to register if you haven't already. Can't get onto the lawn without a registration. Best to do it in advance, and get the goodies that come with it.

Iris is beautiful.

I remember it well, it was advertised in local Richmond VA paper and craigslist for a year at prices ranging from 23 to 17K before Dwayne on the west coast offered the frustrated guy money and came and got it.

What's more important, possibly saving lives and making folks healthy at the hospital...or going to PVGP event?

I'll just say...you need to get your priorities straightened out...lol.

But, seriously...it's a shame you can't make it. Just catching up here a bit and this whole story about you aquiring Iris from Dwayne is an awesome turn of events in it self.

Congratulations, on your fine purshase. Truly a beautiful example in good hands, past and present.

Brian.

Hello Hoi,
Glad to hear Iris is going to be getting out from time to time to take in the local scenery!

It's nice to see current pics of her - she's in great hands!!

You're correct tony!
However, I only have 1 low mileage car that has collectible condition. I still may drive it freq too, but probably not much more than 1000 miles annually.
