Sharks In He11 - Aug 5th

It was a great showing. As Bill said, 25 928s plus another dozen misc 911,944 and other imports. There were at least 7-8 of us who couldn't bring their 928 but still attended as well as a half-dozen usual suspects that were no-shows. A big shout-out to Mark and family for hosting, the vendors who supplied prizes, the organizers and all the attendees who provided food and beverages to share......and I agree, the tamales were great! Some how we consumed about 3 gallons of Shark Water in a few hours and everyone was still standing, and that didn't count the coolers filled with beer and other adult beverages! It's a great 928 event that nobody in the Midwest should miss.

What a GREAT gathering! Awesome place (thanks Mark!), good people, lots of food, perfect weather, many special cars - just an excellent scene overall. First time in Hell for me - definatley want to be there next year!

I had a really great time, it was great to see all my 928 friends again!, and met a lot of new awesome people also.
Thank you to everyone that was involved with organizing the event.
And a big thanks to the grill chef!, the only person I've ever met that knows about Toad Hop.
When I got home from Hell today, my GPS showed that I drove 666 miles round trip.

What the Hell!
Sorry I missed all of You this year! Great turnout I see! The U-Boat has been sold. Sellers remorse coming on strong again!

Such great weather for this event. Not one sweat bead. Always great to see familiar faces and new ones too.
A few observations to note:
Kurt shouldnt drive a pontoon and owes Dan a spa treatment for his back. Apparently big waves and flimsy chairs and Kurt behind the wheel is No Bueno.
AO has a special remedy for sore throats...throat juice i think he calls it.
Christines baked beans are kickass.
Jim Doers lovely daughter had to jump ship midstream during the booze and cruise apparently not PG rated.
Shark Water is quite tasty and sneaks up on you...like a shark.
Someone(s) violated my secret tamale stash.
Thanks Mark for hosting and everyone else who helped making this another epic event and R Budd for the pizza. Didnt catch the fellas named but thank you for the fun ride in the green Spirit roadster.

Thanks for hosting the great event again, Mark and Karen. Saw some folks I haven't seen in years (Rod, Brad, etc.) and met some new ones (Otis, BigAl, etc.). Perfect day!

Spend hours cleaning, detailing, primping, driving a 100 miles one way with non-registered authentic plate eyes pealed for the law and such...and a Buick parks in front of me. Nice.
Next year...I bring the Silverado straight from the horse barn...lol.
Great pictures everyone! I've only been to 3 hell events, but this one was excellent. Thanks again Mark and family!
Brian.

Thanks to Mark and his lovely wife, Karen, for hosting us yet again this year! This is always a great event with lots of great company!
Awesome pics, Bill et. al. Great to have met some new faces and old ones. I love all you guys!
And yeah... to see my old 1982 "Chiffon White" 928 was AWESOME! It's a bit tired now, but still cool to see.
Beer night on Wednesday! See you there!

We had a good time. Maybe too good. Had to sleep it off, for a while, in the car. Met a couple of old friends and lots of new ones.
Will post a few more pics in a bit.
Thank you to the hosts for letting us get together and enjoy the day. Of course, thanks to all of the sponsors, supporters and helpers. We should be back next year.

Thank you for attending our event this year. Weather was great, much beer/food, and many friends.
Special thank you to Dave K and AO for arrangements along with our sponsors (928 Motor Sports, 928sRUs, Classic 9 Leather Shop, Men of Arms, and Munk's Motors).
Looks like the count was 25-26 928's, with 10-12 owners showing up without cars. A few 911's and 944's along with a couple other unique vehicles.
Mark your calendar now – Sharks In Hell 13 will be on August 4th, 2018).
