I am considering running my SP2 944 in a few AER events next season. I currently race on Hoosier R7s but AER requires street tires.

For those of you racing AER or other similar events, what tires would you recommend?

I ran Kumho V710 on stock FUCHS 15 inch staggered rims on my 84 944 in both AutoCross and with the IRDC with great success!
They are "DOT" approved for street, but, not recommended.

We use phone dials and like BFG G-Force Rival S. We're moving to larger wheels with the motor swap.

I have two sets of 15-inch wheels with a set of new BFG rubber if interested.

We run Hankook RS4 on our 944. They will run an entire weekend (3 full days) on 1 set.

We run Big Red brakes so we need to use a 16" wheel
