Aftermarket part

They are on EBay from time to time.

Also, get a lighted liscense plate for the relocation of the plate.

Get a big gold Porsche emblem on a gold chain for around your neck too.

i hate those things, i wish the po of my currrent car never installed it. it's gonna cost quite a bit of $$$ to fix. you gotta drill 4 big holes through the rear wall, and you'll have two more holes to drill on your bumper. don't do it, imho.

and you will have to install a lighted license plate frame or light bolts if you don't want the pd to pull you over.

Thumbs up

Ken... I know it took a lot of courage to admit that on this site...so... here it goes...

I kinda like them too!!! The thing that has kept me from putting one on is relocating the darn license plate! It doesn't look good where it is... and it looks even worse anywhere else!

911s look good with them...Hmmm...nah...can't rationalize buying a 911 just for that!

Jim, regarding the stock location of the license plate, did you miss the thread on relocating it a bit higher? Looks better but takes a bit of work and many beers figuring out how to position. Here is my shot at it:

If someone can tell me how I paste that picture in I'll do it. It is on Kevin K.'s picture files and I'm not sure how to paste it into a Rennlist post.

I removed them from three cars I owned and gave them away.
