Default Passenger window problems

Hey everyone, I have a 1985.5 944 and I have been having some problems with the passenger side power window. I tried replacing the window motor, but that didn't solve the problem. I think it may be the wiring, but it seems like a monumental task to replace the wiring. I would love to do it anyways, has anyone else had any luck with this? Thanks!

Also does anyone have any ideas as to how to make the trunk opener more reliable. I think mine is misaligned and the motor doesn't stop in the open position or close after.

Trunk opener first . take claws apart and clean them and lub , they get plugged with dirt. Or the pins on the hatch are worn or bent or misaligned. The window , try checking the switch , first they are a known problem.
