Default Looses all power with throttle at above about 3k rpms, new fpr, fuel pump, and filter

Good evening everyone.
I've been fighting this problem with my new 944 lately. The car loses all power and almost quits running, even when at full throttle. It seems to get worse as the car warms up, but sometimes it will do it when stone cold as well. Both my new and old fuel pumps seem fairly noisy. New fuel filter as well. Really aggravating as I can't really drive the car the way it is. It just looses all power, even with about only half throttle, it sounds and feels familiar to a rev limiter at first, but revs then will drop and pick up again, even at full throttle. Same thing will happen when parked and not under load, full throttle, goes up to about 4,000 rpms and will then sputter and fall to about 2,000 rpms, then pick up a little and sort of roughly settle there. It's a hard problem to describe. Also, after installing my new fuel pump, all seemed well for about a 20 minute drive, but then the problem started again. Is something killing my fuel pumps?

Check your injectors. Its possible that something is clogging them causing this issues. Also try a bottle of seafoam that may help some.

Vacuum leak. Pressurize it and find it.

Anywhere in particular you would expect a large vacuum leak like this to be? My rubber intake hose looks fairly dried out, ill take it off and check it for leaks tomorrow. Ill try out the propane torch method as well.

Check your J-boot for splits/slices. Especially on the bottom side.

Okay today I removed the intake boot, and while its not in good shape, there are no significant seeming splits or cracks in it. I also removed the cat, and its not clogged, drives the same as well, just stupidly loud. I noticed that my new fuel pump is loud like my old one now, and for a 15 minute drive after i replaced the fuel pump, everything was great. could something have killed the new pump, or can the new pump be defective?

Did you replace the disintegrated, in-tank, fuel strainer we discussed in one of your previous threads?
