Default My New Garage!

For the last few years we've been remodeling a new-to-us house and have finally been able to move in. It originally had a two car garage with a converted/adjacent car port, which made up a quasi-4-car garage, but one side was quite shallow and there was a wall down the middle. So, as part of the remodel, we opted to borrow some of laundry room space behind the garage and make it into a proper garage. I had a Nest cam in the garage throughout construction so was able to document the build on a daily basis. There are bigger and better garage out there I know, but I am over the moon with how it came out and nice it is to have space to move around, etc. Without further ado, here are pictures of the build...

First step was to pull out the old slabs and the old foundation between the house and garage.

Good view of the new space we added.

New footprint.

Porcelain PEI 5 tile flooring.

Installation of Baldhead Cabinets. These guys were absolutely great to work with and make great cabinets.

Floor and cabinets installed!

Gotta have a lift. Bendpak HD-9

First day with cars inside

Did you remember to embed magnets in the floor for the robots to follow?

Wow. Impressive.
A garage, yes. Also a church. A shrine. A place of Porsche worship.
