Hey guys!
After much procrastination and sidetracking my arms finally arrived!! My team and I have an '87 944 we are building up for Lucky Dog racing and since the car is almost done, this was the kick in the butt I needed to finish them. I just got these in from the machine shop, still need to put finish treatment on them but so far look great and want to get these on the car to test. I tried to make them as close to the originals as possible with a few modifications.

mine weighs 2780 grams, the one on the left weighs 2650, I added some extra metal in a couple places and there is a chunk missing from the old one where it cracked

@vincrg1683 How are the ball joint spherical bearings retained? I have never had Charlie arms on my car, but I remember Charlie himself saying he used 911-style ring nuts versus the usual snap rings.

Happy new year gents Vince is a top notch 20+ year engineer and has worked in the SoCal aircraft forge/machinist industry so he’s right on top of every quality control aspect here and has spent the last 2 years tackling this huge project getting it done. I can’t wait to try a set of these on our race car this spring once we get alignment dialed in. I believe just like the Charlie arms these have threaded castle nuts to retain the sphericals and bushings!
