Damn (!) warning light
I've started to wake my car from her winter hibernation and after a through checkup I fired her up and now i'm get the dreaded (!) on my dash... I have no other warning lights on.
I've double and triple check all my fluids, brake, coolant, oil. No airbag light. The car sounds perfectly fine. The engine temp never spikes. I'm not finding any leaks. Brakes feel fine, not 'mushy'....
I checked all my lights too... headlights, blinkers, parking.. they are all working..
I'm at a loss..
Help.

Hey Slinger...greetings from Massachusetts!
I had the ! light on for a long time before I followed the thread below. Not sure if its your ABS or not but you never know...

Thanks everyone for the replies.
I went back through things this past weekend and think I may have found the culprit.. not sure yet, but looks like a have a bad wire/connection to my passenger rear directional. The reason I'm thinking this is my passenger directional is hyper-flashing the brake lights. Front passenger directional flashes (fast) and the drivers side directionals, front and rear, work as they should. Going to try and get in there with a multi-meter and test things this weekend... fingers crossed its something this easy..
PS. Greetings Ted..

Hyper flashing? Meaning flashing really fast? That means a bad bulb or connection at the bulb, most flashing bulbs have two filaments in them as well. I bet its your carpet messing with your emergency brake button. Mine does the same thing never shuts off but if I mess with the carpet and move it where the button is for the parking brake it goes off.
