1. Can a New OEM Turbo S clutch disc be used in a 86 Turbo? If so
2.Will that handle 300-325 ish HP?

Yes and yes. I'd suggest the so-called OEM "cup" disc aka "motorsport" disc by sachs. It hold over 325hp (at the wheels on a dynojet) and engages like a factory car. Even my bone stock disc (with helper springs) didn't start slipping until I was north of 325 at the wheels. Just be sure to use a freshly (or freshly machined) flywheel and pressure plate too.

There are two different clutch disks, well 3 actually. But I have heard many arguing which is best of the first 2. I don't know.

1) 930 Disk in the RED corner
2) Turbo Cup Clutch Disk in the Blue corner
3) SACHS Racing in the neutral corner

I was suggesting the one in the middle with 4 springs. My bad for confusing it with the higher friction "motorsport" disc. I have not tried that one, so can't comment. Lots of people here have used the 930 disc, but once in a while someone has problems getting them to work right.
