These don't really add power, they just fit the application or assist in bringing rpms faster, unless you are changing compression ratio:

JE Pistons

Pauter Rods

This is just used if boost exceeds the oem gasket (spec'd for 17 psi|) so can improve reliability on high boost:

O-Ringed Head and Block

·Raceware Studs

Regarding the Cam & turbo, would you be more specific?

This is all of the information that I have of the engine, as I did not build it myself. I was just wondering how much power the bottom end could take

I did 418hp to the wheels on an outdated piggyback on my 3.0L at 15 pounds boost.

New turbo great but get proper engine management with it or Vitesse Maf at least with any upgrades.

This is a great deal if you don’t have the engine management

Pump gas, 300-350whp 15ps boost is probably in the ballpark for the engine to last. As you turn the boost up your head gasket life shortens and you need something to keep from detonating. Over 400hp the life of everything gets really short. There are people who get more out of them but not many.

in 1990 I'd agree but with modern turbo(voodoo), standalone engine management(VEMS, MS or MAXXecu), supporting mods like 3"exhaust, bigger injectors, HV fuel pump, 3 bar FPR, vulcan head gasket, raceware or ARP head studs, then 4-500hp is easily doable on a 3 litre. Bottom end is fine with this output. Using state of the art tech from the 90's that some of the high profile vendors still sell, then you'll end up with a laggy, under powered set up, but better options are available now for sure
