Default shifter vibration

I have a Lindsey shift handle and the short shifter with linkage from Only944. When I really romp on the accelerator I get a loud and prominent buzzing vibration in my shifter. Has anyone experienced this after changing to a short shifter? Or could it be something else? Every thing else works normally.

Any idea around what revs it peaks at? Check your balance shaft timing...Buzzing that severe is usually precisely that.

Is it speed sensitive (only above a certain speed)? If yes...that sounds like what my bad ring and pinion sounded like. Hope it’s not that...

Maybe worn Shifter Vibration Dampers?

The Lindsey shifter doesn't use the normal Porsche shift handle; it's designed to use an aftermarket **** without dampers. The Only944 shifter I purchased recently was not thinner than stock and a set of new Porsche dampers fit just fine.

This was the first thing I thought of but with the Lindsey shifter handle there's no place to use one as it's a screw-on top for shift *****. I think I'll take the **** off and see if I still have the vibration.
