re-keying a door lock

I just joined this group recently as I am the new (to me) owner of an 86 951 as well. This past week I rekeyed my door cylinder to match the ignition without purchasing any new lock cylinders, etc. It was a bit complex but fun! Yes, you have to remove the outer door handle to access the screw on the back of the lock cylinder to remove it. Not that hard. I found a youtube video online and it was perfect.
