the funny thing is that I have Rolex's 16 valve engine (from his last project that didn't get finished) sitting next to Dfastest951's 16 valve engine in my shop!

Add my 968 16 valve engine and you would have a Rennlist triple…haha. Fortunately mine is still running fine. Just needs a water pump and timing belt service. My 951 on the other hand is needing a sleeved block rebuild

I think Porsche knew the 16v turbo top end, was capable of making a lot more power, than the old wet sump block could reliably handle.
