ABS Brake Master Cylinders

ABS Brake Master Cylinders
The ABS brake master cylinders have become insanely expensive. I found one for around $800 with a six week wait. What the heck happened? The non abs units are still available at under $150.
Has anyone used a master cylinder for a non abs car on a car with abs?
If I buy used how can I tell what I am getting? Do the abs and non abs units have a different number stamped on them?

I see from the 'related thread' that a bolt in the bottom of the master cylinder means it is a non abs master.
So ironically I have a spare that I pulled from an 86 turbo I parted out (non abs car) that works with abs.

I always thought they are the same. Do you have picture of the bolt in question? I have few of these so maybe it's time to sell.

an alternative could be this Volvo/MB master cylinder, also for cars with 4-wheel ABS.
Same front bore as 944 but a 19mm rear bore so your pedal travel will be a little longer (but line pressure will be the same)

Strange, I have turbo S MC and it has no bolt on the bottom side.
Btw, I'm adopting complete brake system from e46 M3 with complete (all sensors) teves mk60 4channel standalone ABS, and 25/22 MC with porsche big reds.
