Are these actually confirmed to be any different from an S2 crank? Not wishing to pee on your chips, but I bought a good S2 crank with the matching front pulley, for less than $250 a few years back.

Has the hybrid route of offset grinding the 2.5 crank, sort of decreased the demand/value for 3.0 cranks?

The 968 crankshaft is lighter than an S2. Difference was about 5 lbs. iirc. It's a good find for anyone wanting/needing a longer stroke crank.

I wonder if harmonics came into play there, is the 968 DM flywheel heavier than the S2 flywheel?
