In line with my restoration project is to lay out a sheet in the engine bay and scrape off the factory (well, relaced but factory) heat shield, and upgrade with Classic 9 Leather shops rubber version. Anyone have any reviews on this? I just want a 1/4" one because my (currently uninstalled) Lindsay Racing boost enhancer rubs against the current heat shield. So, on a second note, if anyone has experienced this with the boost enhancer, let me know. I had a stumbling issue at high RPM with the boost enhancer in, but that problem fixed when reverted back to stock.

Just move the boost enhancer? It can be anywhere on that vac line, and you can also extend the vac line to put it somewhere else.
