Default Project introduction with link to pics. Update 12/8

My name is Theo, I work at a Yarrowsport in Providence RI, we work on Audis and VWs, we are now getting into Porsches more. I am biulding up a 951 as a shop project. I just wanted to introduce it and myself to the forum.

The engine is stroked to 2.8and I am using Pauter rods and Mahle pistons, The turbo is a Lindsey Super 75-T4, delta port waste gate, Lindsey down pipe and 4" exhaust. Lindsey stage 2 head and stage 5 intercooler and Lindsey intake manifold. I will be using the wolf ecu that Lindsey plans on selling.

The body has IFC sides and rear blended, AIR front street splitter, GT-racing race front bumper. It will be painted a dark gunmetal metalic. I have orderedHRE 545 wheels in 17x8 and 17x10 they have a polished lips and black centers.

With exception ofthe role cage most of the rest of the car is stock for starters but that won't last long.

Wow impressive list of parts there. OOOO 968 rear. If you're going all out I suggest you look into some Leda or Bilstien coil-overs, also a 968 Turbo S adjustable rear wing would be nice. Curious what are you doing for headlights?

It looks like you're off to a good start. I'll have to check that place out, I'm only 10 minutes down the road in W. Warwick.

I am undecided on the rear wing, but it will be like a 968 turbo s wing but higher. For the headlights I will eventualy use GT-racing housings and a xeon bulbs, for now I am still having the stock pop up covers painted.

Just from personal experience.... DO NOT use the GT Racing buckets. They are hell and a half to work with.

I am going for 450whp as it is now on pump gas, after doing more with the cam and lifters I will go for some high boost race gas dyno pulls and see what I can get, I don't want to speculate on those numbers but I feel good about it. It will bee a while befor any big power because after it has been dyno tuned it will all most be winter in the north east and I will have to wait until spring to finish breaking it in. Suspension and brakes will also be taken care of in the winter.
