Default how to remove ignition switch

How do I remove the key ignition from the steering column?
I looks like its held on with two bolts, but underneath they are both round.

As I recall, you need to drill in a very specific location as shown in the shop manual. I'll see if I can post it tonight, although hopefully others will beat me to it. Anyon have that page?

I believe he's trying to remove the ignition lock, not stop the car from having a steering lock.

You have to drill out the shear-head bolts. Click on the pic to make it bigger, hope it helps.
