Also, speak up if there are any other gauges (like boost gauges) you would like from the vendor. I will try to get the discount applied to them too.

BTW, the oil temp gauge that we are talking about is part number 310-106. Picture is here .

Is that the only gauge we can use?

What do you mean? The only gauge that will work with the sensor the brad is making? No any gauge that is designed for 300* SHOULD work but im not putting money on it. Check the website there are plenty of gauges that should work with it.

Yes, any 300 degree F VDO temp gauge will work. If you want some other different gauge (like autometer), wait until this is all over and I'll see what I can do :-)

Could the 310-512 be obtained for a low price as well?
I only think in metric, sorry.

I'll check. The vendor does list it, at $38.12. Though, it says "Water" on it, it will work for oil too, you just need to ignore the label

I see:
150F - 300F / 50C - 150C 2 1/1/6" Engine Oil $33.35
Mentions that it uses the 10-180Ohm sending unit, which I presume is the one we're using, since it's the 'new' one.

Now I'm worried they list the wrong part number.
