I really am curious to see how that PIC controller works out for you, do you have it yet?
Fuel only should be pretty simple. Just need a signal off the coil, MAP, misc other things.

No I dont have it yet, hopefully wont take too long to get my hands on it. I have the parts for some other circuits too, just gotta try them all out.

I'm going to be trying to get mine up and running with just fuel in the next couple weeks. Right now I have link MAP kit and I'm looking to basically swap in the MSII. I'll be sure to document the install and any problems I have.

Looks like my buddy is going to jump on board and convert his 924 from that peice of crap CIS system to MS, that should solve alot of his problems.

Well, we are both techno-nerds - so it should be fun to fiddle with the settings via laptop, and it's not terrible expensive.

Also, I am a CNC machinist - so let me know if I can help with parts........

The MegaCoiler is what till take care of that. It will divide the 132 tooth signal down to something better, 44 or so. Im going to test a few other simpler solutions that should do the same thing, but are simple and cheap. Im going to test them all if I can.

I saw some of you guys weren't even heard of MS, but Im going to use even better thing on my 931 (already purchased), and it's actually a Megasquirt spin-off. http://megasquirtavr.sourceforge.net...tro.About.html

I bought an assembled unit with LCD and already installed a unit like that to one non-Porsche (Audi).

Why dont you use the ecu out of a Pontiac sunbird turbo. Its the same Ecu out of the Gm Typhoon and Syclone: 3 bar map sensor, Pulls timing under boost, wastegate control, can be tuned on the go, and this computer can be had for $45 in a junk yard or $60 on ebay. You may have to use some gm sensors but this computer has been hack, tweak and torn apart bit by bit and it pretty darn good. i'm using this on my 79 928 turbo. The things that i see having to be swap is a 2 watt 1% resistors from mouser electroincs for low ohm injectors. Gonna use it first to pull my timing under boost with the cis still in place 12 psi fully tuned i'm gonna see 22 psi muhahaha
