There is a relay, and mine is clicking ALOT on and around start up then stops after a bit, under the glove box, on the left side almost behind the radio area.

What is it for?????

I get a click from an ac relay or something related to ac, but it's more to the left I think. Turn your ac off and see if it still happens.

could be the heater / temp solenoids, they control the vacuum signal running to the heater control valve etc. By moving the temp dial left and right you can get these babies working.

ok, now I don't hear the clicking and temps on AC output seem to be warmer.

I guess it is the temp solinoid. is it a relay that can be changed?

The noise is most probably the control motors for the heating/vent flaps.
They usually start audibly clicking a while before they break....
It's normal for them to move at startup. Just turn the temp **** or vent levers to test !

So how do I fix this??? I definetly have a clicking coming from there. A nearly constant clickin over every single little bump or crack in the road or just whenever it feels like clicking... How do i make it go away???

If it is the flap control motor(s), they will click repeatedly for a short while at startup and when changing temp. or vent settings. Stick your head under the dash and listen while fiddling with the buttons/levers !
To fix - replace the motor....

There are some A/C relays behind the glovebox, but I think that's only in 83's, and its on the right side (near the door).
