Considering selling my project
If anyone is interested, I'll give the enthusiasts the first stab at my project. Feel free to email questions/offers, but here's what were looking at (package deal):
'87 951
Fiberglass Hood, Front Fenders (+1"), Front Bumber
Vented nose panel
Infinity Kappa Seperates front & rear, 6x9 in cubby holes, JL Audio 12W6 in spare tire box
Huntley Stage I full coil overs with camber plates
Zimmerman cryo rotors
Mintec pads
One touch up/down windows
Programmable alarm/keyless with pager
3-gauge aluminum plate with EGT, boost, and Oil temp gauges replaces storage pocket
928 brake bias
Deltagate wastegate
2.5" test pipe
Hella headlights (non-sealed) & factory driving/fog lights
bottom half of blown 951 motor, turbo (good), etc.
And then the "project" part:
968 block, bored to 108mm (If I recall), ChMo sleeves
Balance shaft delete
"cemented"
3L crank, knife edged, allen plugged, cross drilled, lightened, offset ground to 92mm stroke (that makes it a 3.4L)
Pauter forged rods, gun drilled
JE Pistons, ceramic coated tops, anti-friction sleeves
SFR Stage II 16V SS headers, jet hot coated, EGT bung (4-1, decreasing diameter, equal length)
SFR XOver with V-Band clamps, jet hot coated
SFR 3" Down Pipe, jet hot
T04 turbo (can't quite remember the A/R, but its a biggun) ceramic coated hot side, v-clamp modified
Wolf3D EFI system (latest version) with wideband O2
2x 16V heads, stock
numerous cams
misc. other parts (cams, pulleys, misc. fiberglass, heads, intercoolers, lots of stuff)
968 mirrors
968 door handles
side moldings
GT2 carbon fiber shifter
I have a ton of stuff I'd like to move as one package to some guy that's going to finish the project, and let me drive it 1 time when its done (optional, but recommended).
I don't forsee ever having the time to get it all put together, and I'd like to see it all go to a "loving home". I'll be happy to answer any questions and so forth. I'd think this thing'll put ~550HP to the wheels on pump gas when its done, but we'll see.
The reason I'm not putting this in the For Sale section is because I'm thinking of this as more of an adoption, really...

I don't know what to sell it for... I haven't even considered doing so until yesterday. Considering I'm throwing in the car and all the other goodies (plus its the only 3.4L I've seen) I think something in the neighborhood of $20k is reasonable.
550 on pump gas ... yeah, I've seen 500 on a 3L, so I figured that .4L ~= 50 HP. I could be wrong, but I'm certain that it'll be over 500 at the wheels.
