I have the MafterBurner to adjust the voltages between the MAF and the DME.

"With the correct approach (correct MAF & software), it does not matter if you run 12psi or 24psi, the DME will ALWAYS know the "correct" flow and will handle it for both timing and fuel."

Didn't the stock 951/DME do this as well?

Purchase MAFterburner and you're right there (with the ability to change voltages between the DME and MAF). MAFterburner has a calibration feature that lets you adjust the voltages to the DME - I'm just starting to experiment with it - good stuff.

ok, and the Maferburner is the piggyback that Lindsey uses?

I thought it was only compatible with thier MAF.

I concur with Fast951, I have programmed my own chips also, and that is the only way to get correct AFR and Timing. If you massage the AFM or MAF signal you are also going to be skewing your Timing Tables within your chips. It is a much better solution to get chips which have been reprogrammed for your particular application.

BTW from what I've heard Fast951 sells the best chips on the market, and "skill" does matter in this area. Just because someone reprograms the chips, it doesn't mean they did it well. It's taken me over a year to really learn how to program the chips properly.

It's my understanding that MAFterburner works with any 951 MAF. Lindsey had Force One (the original vendor) modify MAFterburner to work with 951s (originally developed for Fords).
