Default Window Tinting

I just decided to re tint my 88.5 turbo s....of course all the tint shops say the 944 is one of the hardest to do with that back window. After shopping around in my area i got a price at 395 for it...what I am having trouble with is choosing the tint I want on it. If anyone has recently done a tint job on their car and is happy with the color choice and darkness they choose please le me know and any pictures would be appreciated. Oh the dealer I choose will be using Llumar tint if that helps.

Thanks

I just did the darkest I could do on my 951 which is 35% in NC. I don't remember the brand tint but it comes with a lifetime warranty. They did my car for 200. The hatch is hard, the guy did it in 2 pieces because his store didn't have tint wide enough to do it in one piece. They did a great job I can't see the seam.

My buddy called a couple places loacally here in Phoenix and they won't touch the 944. All they said was, "sorry, can't help you".

I'll take some pics tomorrow if the weather is good. my car is alpine white but the paint is bad

I think my tint is just regular tint. I didn't go with any special colors.

it was 300 for all of mine in limo 2% with lifetime warrenty. It looks like pure sex too

porshhhhhh - I sent you a pm

you're lucky the cops around here are tint nazi's. The shop actually warned me that I'd get hassled as soon as I left the shop to make sure I had the legal limit. Sure enough 5 minutes after I left I got stopped and let go.

A shop around where I live has a $99 special every year... any car.
So I had them do my 924... The guy almost shit his pants when he found out he was putting the tint on my car for only $99. I didn't feel too bad though... go figure. Haha

35 % tint pics on alpine white. Overall I like it but I wish I could go darker. From some angles it looks black but when you get close you can see inside.

pardon the bird poo

Just got mine done last week. My freind owns the tiniting shop and has been doing it for 20yrs. He said the 944 is one of the hardest cars to do(back window). He did it for 200. He usually gets 300. I had the back window made as dark as they could. I have stereo equipment in the car and did not want to see. I dont know what the sides are but you can see through no problem. I like the back dark but during the day you cannot see out of it. It is like looking thru the glass at night.
