Default questions plus pics about my exhaust

Ok, first let me post the pictures, then I'll ask the questions:

Now my questions. I'm happy with the sound, and it doesnt look bad, but how much of a gain does it give me? I have no information at all on it and I plan on selling it and I want to know a little about it so I can answer any questions. Thanks!

That appears to be a Borla catback from an NA 944. From your pictures it looks like it was welded to the factory four bolt turbo flange...hard to say for sure though. I had that same unit on my NA car. I paid around $250 for it in similar used condition in 2000.

Here's a picture in comparison to a stock NA exhaust.

Here is the XR-1 oval muffler on my 951.

How will the 3 bolt NA to-cat flange work on a 951 when the 951 has a 4 bolt flange?

Yep, that big hole in the back of the pipe is your problem. Cover that thing and all that annoying noise and vibration will go right away.

it looks like someone exhaust clamped a borla muff and tail to the stock pipe. not much of a gain stock muff is a straight through design as well
