I have smoked a rear tailight before with the VHT and it turned out awesome. I just never really got around to doing much to this car. Thanks for the comments.

if you haven't already: could you explain the turn signal issue a little more?

is it a short on the wires near the signal lever or something?

I think it is the multiswitch itself. Because if you wiggle the turn signal stalk you can get the turn signals to work.
