Not cool at all. Did you look it though? I'll keep my ebay scanning eyes open.
On another note, the famous thief who's name I shall not say tried to become my "friend" on "myspace" about a month ago. I did not approve and his account was eventually deleted. It looked as if he a turbo 968 in his possession now.

In my defense, I surfed over to this thread from another thread over in the OT section which was simply titled, "Be on the lookout."
So there, wiseguy...

Mod Help...
nkgosselin:
I just gave a heads up to Randy V, who is a Super Mod on here for you. As you can now see, there is an announcement up top for the entire Rennlist community to see about your stolen car. I figured this could only help you my friend. As I said, I know what it's like to be violated and have a wonderful car you love to be stolen. I hope for the best for you. But a big thanks is in order to Randy V for making the announcement.
Cheers

Maybe they have a high level of responsibility, due to the low-res cameras, instead of a low level of responsibility if they had installed high-res cameras.

It really suprises me when I see a Porsche get stolen. A friend who in a previous life (now does all my paintwork) was a car theif, said that the hardest of any car he's ever tried to steal are Porsches. The locks are different than in most cars making things like slapsticks and such nearly useless. He would rarely even think about one for the fact that it takes so much longer giving more time to be caught.
Best of luck finding your car! My neighbor had a car stolen by a bunch of kids who just wanted to joyride the car, brought it back the next day, parked in the same spot. They were caught of course, but they didn't hurt a thing..just wanted a joyride. Hopefully this is the case you and will see your car back in no time.

It's a deterrent, nothing more, nothing less.
