Hey Patrick, If you have $225K kicking around, you can buy the car and find out!

dreamin Pat , how many 600hp 951 motors are holding together long enough for that kind of thing .
is there still a under 5 lt sports sedan class or is just 2.0 and open ?.
and why bother with such an expensive sarting piont ??? you do so much to the engine there is no piont starting with a 944 motor. just start with a 3.0 toyota or nissan 4 cylender.
start with the diesel bottom end probably stiffer than a 944 one .

Haven't seen these in this thread yet. Not a monster, but definitely a nice car! Maybe Duke, Sweanders, and the other Swedes can fill us in on its current status (Puppan's car).

I sold last spring a LSD unit to Peter (Puppan). He was then in the middle of some kind of building process with his house if i can remember correctly.

Scott
I was running a 2.5L and running top of class in GT3. I could even get some of the GT2 class guys. I was going to do a 2.6L over the winter but now I may go with a 2.8L. From my calculations it will still keep me in GT2 so I may go that route and see how well I do. Around here the GT classes are getting thin so it may not be a big deal in the long run.

Scott, care to share any info on the body work on those cars? I'd be curious what's gone into them and how difficult the process is.

Don't want to be picky but the new project is based on a low milage crashed 996 Turbo.
Will turn out into a full caged 997 Supercup style RWD monster... it will be insane.

I spotted this trick car for sale at Freisnger Motorsport in Germany. It's the Al Holbert Le Mans car, rebuilt and restored by Freisinger wearing it's US colour scheme.
