Default Replacing turbo need to know what parts to get

I have a complete k26 turbo with downpipe that I am going to replace the stock on with that blows oil. I have never done any motor work on the porsche just because I haven't had to yet, so this will be the first time taking off the intake and such and I am unaware of what gaskets and o-rings I will need. I checked clarks garage but that gives me every o-ring and gasket and some I am sure I do not need.

So with a complete turbo swap what do I need.

Thanks in advance.

I'd say you need at least:

O-Ring on top of turbo for oil line: 999 707 043 00
O-Ring below turbo for motor mount flange: 900 174 058 40
Sealing Washers for turbo oil line banjo bolt (2): N 013 814 8
Crush ring between turbo and down-pipe: 944 111 205 03
Crush ring between down-pipe and cat converter: 944 111 205 03
Crush ring between turbo and cross-over flange: 944 111 205 04
Intake manifold gaskets (4): 944 110 163 05

Lots of other things you "could" do, "while you're in there"...

injector o-rings
venturi delete
coolant hoses
new exahust fasteners
new turbo coolant sensor
throttle body reseal
clean bellhousing grounds
replace vacuum lines
new plugs, wires, cap, rotor
and on and on...

You should think about changing your air oil separator o-rings while you do that since you need the turbo out to get at them and they're only $15.

Number 42 and 34 here:

Believe it or not, the hardest part for me was getting the crush ring out of the exhaust pipe that connects to the downpipe.

All new (or re-plated) bolts for the x-over pipe, new lock nuts for the downpipe + x-over

New gaskets + seals (as tom stated).

Do you recommend dealer parts? Or where is the best place to get all the needed parts?
I will be doing the same job soon. I’m so glad I found this thread.

Lindsey Racing had all the parts I needed when I did mine. There is a good diagram on their website which shows everything you will need.

One thing you're going to need is a good 6mm, short arm allen wrench or a short socket with universal joint to get the turbo mounting bolts undone. You'll have to remove the steering knuckle heat shield to give you enough room to drop the long bolt.

Cover the hole in the top of the bell housing at the back of the intake - as you would hate to drop one of the allen bolts or other 10mm bolts that attach stuff to the intake, both top and bottom.
