If someone copied the arms and made some, would the world hate him?

YES! If they claimed it was their design AFTER buying a pair. Say it's a readily available copy, made equally well...then NO!

If someone's interested, I am selling my set of Charlie Arms (late offset), and am including a new set of the outer bearings, that you can have installed.

$1295 plus shipping.

What ever happened if anything on this possible group buy? I have been away from the forum for nearly 5 years but would love a set of Charlie Arms. Are they now back in production?

Virtually no chance of getting new ones of these. Just have to watch the boards to pickup a 2nd hand set.

I have a set of early offset charley arms for sale. $1000 + shipping. I also have '86 spindles machined to fit them. I'll include spindles for no increase in price, but it will increase the shipping.

Why do the spindles need to be machines to fit the arms?

Also, the ball joints on mine are loose. Who sells parts to rebuild them?

Charley used a 19mm balljoint pin rather than the stock 17mm for added strength.

You can still get parts for them from Charlie at wrightwood racing. At least you still could about a year ago when I talked with him.
