Laid Off AGAIN
Here is the press release
Ok...I wish it wouldn't have happened, but it did. I was laid off again (Credit Suisse 18 months ago) by Morgan Stanley who is going through a huge restructuring. Having been at the firm only 18 months I was very vulnerable. Key word VERY.

please keep us in your prayers and thoughts and please let me know if you can forward any good leads
thanks guys

Good luck to ya. I presume you're either an analyst or planner, right? It may be wise to go a different direction in the short term. I'm afraid the economy is going to contract for a while, especially in Banking.

Thanks guys.
I raise money for a living on the institutional and retail markets....yep the markets could be better
i sell one of the most sophisticated intangibles to one of the most unsophisticated and saturated markets. I have been doing it for over 20 years and recognized as one of the top in my field. If I can do that that successfully, I can do it in a variety of industries.
Thanks for the encouragement

I used to work for Merrill Lynch & then JP Morgan before the Chase merger so moved on to Deutsche Bank and got totally fed up with the institutions and left the city. Never looked back. Have faith in yourself!

I would love to go independent. Given this being the second one in 2 years and my oldest hitting college in August, I don't really have much choice but to plug in and work the best I can for them and hopefully a great employer.
Yep Wall Street is getting more and more and more difficult to work in. I remain hopefully optimistic and confident.
you guys rock

Good luck to ya. My plant was on again, off again for 2 years. Talk about a ride, well, they finally decided to close last spring and I just finished moving the final line and go in tomorrow to get my severance package.
I'm lucky because of all the time I had to plan.
Hang in there , the job market is tough but not impossible.

Man these are some hard times! I wish you luck in finding something soon.
Thanks to our country's generosity with employment, I have given one engineering job to china, one to india, one to mexico, and am now working on sending my current aerospace tech position to mexico.
When are we going to take our country back?
