How do you have your TIAL wastegate setup?
I currently have mine installed according to the tial directions. (That is with the bottom of the wastegate facing the crossover pipe, and the side of wastegate facing towards the dump tube.)
Does anyone have theres setup the other way around? where intead of the exhuast pressures forcing the valve open it forces it closed.

I dont get why you would intentionally install it backwards.. ? Your boost would never bleed off.. the car would be ultra fast for about 5 seconds before you blew the headgasket.

It would NEVER open. I though this thread was going to be about how theyre mounted, adaptor plates or weld. Has anybody welded theirs directly on the crossover? I would like to do so in order to eliminate a few possible places for it to start leaking. anyone have pics

Orientation of new wg vs old wg
Reading this old thread and reviewing your pic. I'm seriously considering replacing my stock 196 951 wg with a Tial 46 and I just purchased a full 3" exhaust from SFR. I just want to confirm the new Tial 46 wg compared to the old stock wg. Is the new wg rotated a little less than 90 degrees counterclockwise? If so, there's enough room in the space of the old wg? There's the torque tube just to the left.
